Great for walkers, coastpath on the doorstep, an amazingly beautiful, peaceful and tranquil place.
Good Life is tucked away on an idyllic 8 acre coastal smallholding located next to National Trust land, we are positioned between Nanternis & Cwmtydu near New Quay on the coast of Cardigan Bay in Ceredigion.
A footpath runs from the caravan site to the secret smuggler’s beaches and the famous Ceredigion Coastal Path, sea views, raw nature and the countryside surrounding us, all within walking distance and that's the only way you will find them, there’s not much traffic here!
None of the hustle and bustle here, this area is surrounded by a mix of sandy coves and beaches and deep and rocky inlets, grassy headlands with an abundance of rare wildflowers and stunning surrounding landscapes! You can discover the quiet local award winning beaches, the ancient woodlands with waterfalls, some amazing walks along the Ceredigion coast path, a great place to go bird watching or even dolphin spotting and see the seals. You can swim in the sea if you’re brave enough or just breathe enjoy the peace, quiet and tranquillity, wind down, chill out and have a real break from it all, this is a holiday location you’ll remember.
If you want to travel just a little further you can discover so much more if you want it. Llangrannog is the next coastal village towards Cardigan, with 2 pubs, the Pentre Arms and The Ship. If you want something more lively then New Quay where you can have a drink and eat fish and chips from The Lime Crab on the harbour pier. More on our Web Site

We stayed here for 2 nights Whitsun week 2018 on a tour of mid Wales and I wish we could have stayed longer. The site is very pretty with farm animals around. As there is only room for 5 motorhomes / tourers it was so quiet which was just what we needed after visiting some very busy, noisy sites that week. We had the best of welcomes from the owners, we had no problem driving our 8metre motorhome onto the site and the walks from the site down through the waterfalls to the coves are definitely worth a visit. We will definitely return.
Fantastic holiday here
Just had a fantastic week at this lovely site. Fay and Roger were most welcoming and helpful, giving us maps and information for walking in the area. We met some lovely people during our stay and saw red kites and buzzards flying around. We saw some beautiful sunsets too. We had no trouble finding this great site and had a lovely relaxing week.
The Good Life A Little gem
This is a well maintained small site in an attractive and interesting area, with welcoming and very helpful owners. Situated on a well maintained field and with views over to the sea about 1/4 mile away on one side, it is a lovely place to be. Electric hook up, fresh water, chemical and waste water disposal points are easy to use and clearly marked. From the first contact I had with Fay on the phone she was very helpful and even texted me the details with post code and directions. On arrival I was greeted by Fay and her husband Roger who was just equally as helpful. I had originally only booked for one night 21/6/2018 as I was touring west Wales but found the tranquility of the place so addictive I ended up staying for 7 days. Whilst there I met 4 other members who also found the site the same. They went the extra mile to make life easy for us suggesting the beaches walks and even giving us a lift to the local shops on a few occasions. I had no problems entering of exiting the site neither did I see any one else. In 22 years of using CL site for me this is the best I have experienced and will definitely be returning.
peace and quiet
Visited this great little site early June 2018. Peace and quiet is what we wanted and that is exactly what we got. Situated on a flat well maintained field bounded by hedgerow and with views over one to the sea about 1/4 mile away it is a lovely place to be. Hook up and fresh water available and chemical and waste water disposal points. Plenty of room for the 5 outfits allowed. Access to the lane a little tight but no problem. Walks along the coastal clifftop paths, left into Llangranog and right into New Quay superb. We even saw the Dolphins. Roger and Fay are a great helpful and engaging couple who will go out of their way if you need assistance. Thankyou for the departing gift of leeks from your vegetable plot and the bottle of homemade beer. It went down well ! Would definitely return Tony and Sue
Directions : Turn right off the A487 Aberaeron/Cardigan road 1 mile past Synod Inn Public House, by church at crossroads signpost Cwmtydu. In 2.5 miles continue across 2nd crossroads big green metal barn style building at this crossroads called 'Pot Sian' signposted Cwmtydu sign unsuitable for long vehicles. In about 1 mile turn left into small lane leading to us, the site is on the right.
Please note: The lane to our site is just on the left shortly before the road bends left (this is where is becomes unsuitable for long vehicles). Please approach our drive slowly and carefully and MOST IMPORTANT - DO NOT PROCEED PAST OUR SITE as the roads become unsuitable, the road to and from the beach at Cwmtydu is narrow, steep and winding - also the road through the village of Nanternis is very narrow and steep - we do not recommend driving any larger motor vehicles there.
