Seabreeze Cl is a quiet peaceful site on the coast of North Devon nice views around, it is midway between Appledore and Westward Ho! We are on the edge of Northam Burrows Country Park which is ideal for walking, just beyond that is Westward Ho! beach and is about a mile long and Westward Ho! has a few shops several nice places to eat and enjoy a drink also the Royal North Devon Golf Club is about a mile from Seabreeze.
A mile in the opposite direction is the old fishing village of Appledore which has lots of narrow streets with quaint cottages and offers spectacular views of the Taw and Torridge estuary and also has shops several eating and drinking places. Across the river Torridge from Appledore quay is the village of Instow which can be reached by the Appledore ferry, (not vehicular), fishing trips are also available from Appledore quay.
Roughly 13 miles from Appledore on the A39 Atlantic highway is the fishing village of Clovelly which is famous for its cobbled High Street and attracts a lot of visitors during the season.
The island of Lundy is accessible from Bideford or Ilfracombe onboard the passenger ferry MS Oldenburg.
About half a mile from Seabreeze is a bus stop which runs between Bideford and Appledore every half an hour.

Reviews
Lovely peaceful site
Just what you would expect from a simple CL. Now has 2 good level hard standings.
What a lovely peaceful little site!
We were welcomed by the owner, she was so friendly and welcoming. The site was nestled by the estuary of appledor, only a short drive or longer stroll to the historic appledor old town. Great pub, The Seagate for a FAB Sunday roast at good value! Dog friendly too. We would recommend this campsite for its peaceful surroundings and lovely views. Basic facilities so you need your own toilet, but plenty of bins for recycling and a toilet/ water waste area. 10/10. !
Edit to ' I'd like to give it 6 stars please'
Amendment to my review ... Awnings ARE allowed .... groundsheets aren't x
I'd like to give it 6 stars please !
Large flat field with allocated grass spaces. No awnings allowed. We had pre paid so didn't expect to see the site owners, but they came to cut the grass just after we arrived so stopped for a chat and gave us loads of info on the area. The site is located right at the back of Northam Burrows Country Park, (turn left out of the site and left again, 5 minutes walk )which stretches all the way to Appledore to the right, or Westward Ho! to the left. Fantastic area to walk ! At low tide you can walk to Appledore along the beach, 15 minutes walk or 3 hours amble via all the rock pools ! And at high tide there is a footpath level with the road ( starts just after the MOT garage on the left ). Follow the paved road all the way to the end of the Burrows, over the cobbles onto the longest most wonderful beach all the way left into Westward Ho! Appledore is a favourite destination and this CL is perfectly placed ! Sea side heaven ! :)
Perfect CL
Thank you Marie and Jason for being welcoming hosts and providing a great site. Large, spacious pitches with pretty wild flower planting. Honey available to purchase from the resident bees. Great location to explore from. A short walk takes you straight onto The Burrows and from here you can walk one way to Appledore or the other way to Westward ho! A lovely quiet cl site which I would highly recommend
Perfect CL
Cracking CL, loads of space, very pretty with neatly cut grass & wildflowers around the perimeter. Marie & Jason are very welcoming & friendly. There's an info board with bus & ferry times and a map of the area. Appledore is a pretty little village and only about 15 mins walk away. We will definitely return.
A lovely CL
We have tried to get a pitch here for quite some time. Eventually managed it originally in early May but we had to cancel on the way down due to a fault with the motorhome. Marie was very understanding and we finally got there for 2 nights this weekend. We met both Marie and Jason and had a nice chat with them. What a lovely site. We had pitch number 1 so next to the lane. Yes you can hear the road noise, but it didn't affect us. We even managed to pitch up and not have to use ramps. Had a lovely walk into both Appledore and Westward Ho! The dogs especially loved the walk along the very long beach into Westward Ho! although it wasn't overly clear where the beach became the no dog zone (down from the path from the car park). We will return when we need a peaceful break near a dog friendly beach!
Peaceful & relaxing
Marie met us when we arrived & so welcoming. Lovely kept site & well maintained. Lovely walks direct from site & Appledore has a lovely Seaview with great pubs & food & very friendly people. Will definitely be putting a tick in our book to visit again.
Peaceful and very helpful
This was a late decision to go away. So helpful, they opened specially. Lovely and quiet but the area has so much to do.the owners couldn't do enough. I will be back and would recommend. You do need to be self contained.
From A39 North Devon link road take the A386 at Heywood Road roundabout signposted Northam, Appledore and Westward Ho! At Northam turn Right onto Churchill Way.
