First time on this site
Well i was surprised at the size of the pitches plenty of room for the biggest of van,s and awning plus car never seen the owners until i went to pay them on our last day of a 14 night stay. the is a toilet on site clean ok if you don't mined the odd spider. the site is clean and tidy the only gripe i have is that the grass was a bit on the long side about 2" to 3" but that didn't spoil our stay would use this site again also would make a good stop over next time
lovely c.l.arrived without booking but owners were more than helpfull to let us stay, grass well short, large pitches, toilet bit on rough side we supplied the soap for the two weeks we were there but for only £ 12 a night you cant expect a lot, loads of places in the area to visit and all very good access from the site, miles of country lanes to cycle, good carvary pub just down the road, pitched beside road but being country lane very few traffic, fresh eggs next door, after spending two weeks there we would visit again
Pleasant spacious site
Spacious level site - although if you pitch at the far end there isn't a fifth hook-up. Friendly owners, and loo perfectly okay. Miles of quiet back-lanes for cycling, and plenty of pubs. Newent is a lovely small town. Gloucester just down the road. Enjoyed our stay. Just one gripe: lawned field was overdue a cutting. Long wet grass in the morning is not ideal!
Nice quiet spot
Nice, quiet location, field well mowed and owner very relaxed. Toilet block is basically unusable: mouldy, damp and uncleaned, but if you don't need to use this the site is lovely.
Directions : Turn right off the B4215 Gloucester - Newent in Highleadon into road signposted Upleadon. Site is on the right in 2 miles, pull into site and call at house.
