The Dreaming Pond, Upton, Lincs is situated in the village of Upton, 3 miles from Gainsborough and 15 miles from Lincoln.
Surrounded by miles of open land, local public rights of ways and a host of local amenities:
A village shop for the little extras you may have missed
Four public houses within walking distance of the site, each serving fresh meals.
One of the very few coal fired fish and chip shops remaining, right in the village of Upton.
Close by we have the historical city of Lincoln, once boding the tallest building in the world. Or head in the opposite direction to Gainsborough, once the capital of England.
Not wanting to travel far, within the village we also have fishing ponds, maybe you are an aircraft enthusiast, the once RAF Sturgate airfield is just a mile down the road.

Outstanding site
This is a beautiful site and in a very tranquil location. As a certified site it is more than you can expect, the owners are more than welcoming and over and beyond what can be expected. We would recommend this site to anyone who wants a stay in a peaceful location. The provisions are more than needed for what we wanted, and being able to use our own generator was more than accepted. A big hats off to the site , and we will be staying here regularly when we attend the local market as stall holders.

From Gainsborough head south on the A156 towards Lincoln. After about 2 miles turn left onto B1241 Willingham Rd signposted Upton, Willingham, Kexby. In Knaith Park turn left onto Upton Road towards Upton. On entering Upton, at t-junction turn right onto High Street towards Kexby, Lincoln. After approximately 0.25 miles, turn right just after Dealtry Close onto track leading to the entrance to the CL.
